Scotland Ballbasgaid exists to build, document, and celebrate basketball in Scotland. We are not a governing body, a club, or a commercial enterprise. We are a platform dedicated entirely to the sport and to the people who play it across this country.
Our name draws on the Gaelic word for basketball and on the spirit of Bucephalus, Alexander the Great's legendary warhorse: strong, temperamental, noble, and unbreakable. These qualities define the game at its finest, and they define the standard we hold ourselves to in everything we publish.
